Athol Seventh-day Adventist Church

Join Us This Saturday

As the state of Idaho begins to re-open in phases as a precautionary approach responding to the coronavirus COVID-19 as well as for the safety of our members, guests, and our Athol community, we have decided to remain closed until we are confident measures have been established to keep us and the community healthy.  We don't want our members or the community to contract this virus.   Check back here to see when we will be able to meet together to study the Bible and worship Jesus Christ.  We look forward to being able to worship and study together once again and for Jesus' soon return.  The signs are showing prophecy being fulfilled right before us.  Let us be faithful until He returns.

Service times:
Sabbath School: 9:15 a.m.
Worship Service: 10:45 a.m.

Pastor Dunbar has retired and will be working in other fields of God's work.  We bid him God's blessing in this change.

Join Us Wednesday for Prayer Meeting - Postponed until we are able to gather together again in good health!
7:00pm Prayer and Study of Christ Object Lessons Chapter 11, "Things New and Old"

Plans for Vacation Bible School for 2020 are already in process.  Tentative dates are June 22-26, 2020 as COVID-19 may impact the dates.  Watch the Calendar and Ministries pages for times and updates.

      Encouraging Thought for the week:

“God will more than fulfill the highest expectations of those who put their trust in Him. He desires us to remember that when we are humble and contrite, we stand where He can and will manifest Himself to us. He is well pleased when we urge past mercies and blessings as a reason why He should bestow on us higher and greater blessings. He is honored when we love Him and bear testimony to the genuineness of our love by keeping His commandments. He is honored when we set apart the seventh day as sacred and holy. To those who do this, the Sabbath is a sign, . . . God declares, "that I am the Lord that sanctify them" (Eze. 20:12). Sanctification means habitual communion with God. There is nothing so great and powerful as God's love for those who are His children.”
